Cascade Community Pool Facts
Pool was built in 1963 as an outdoor recreational community pool.
We maintain the temperature of our pool at a therapeutic 87-88 degrees. This temperature enables the participants in fitness, therapy and swim lesson classes to relax and exercise in comfort.
The pool is Chlorine based with Muriatic Acid as a pH balancer.
Pool is a regulated indoor atmosphere with the Air temp being between same temp as pool at 87 and 92 degrees. Any higher or lower and pool water will start to evaporate or throw chemicals off balance due to temperature difference.
The shallow end of the pool at 3 feet is perfect for children who are playing or learning how to swim. The 9 foot depth easily accommodates a deep water fitness class, freeing participants from any impact on the bottom of the pool. (Please note that all who wish to swim in the nine depth area must be able to pass a swim test without flotation assistance).
We have a max capacity of 40 swimming patrons in the pool at one time.
Our schedule is constantly changing to meet the needs of our clientele so please reference the calendar above to see the most up to date information.
The Board of Directors meets the first Monday of every month at 3:30pm in the on-site office.
We are a non-profit organization for the benefit of our community. We have had many people donate to our pool to help keep us going. Every bit helps and is deeply appreciated by our members and community who use our facility. If you wish to donate please contact us.
